Cute baby. Good job.
Good looking baby. reminds me of me. I hope Lisa is doing as well as expected. Seeing as though only 3 people can start the WOD at a time, is the gym open 24 hrs. now?
Question of the day: What was the 1st. car you bought?
Mine was a 1967 galaxy 500. I paid $300.00 for it.
1993 Honda Civic. Paid $4k in 1998 for it. Great little car, could make it from Norfolk, VA to Durham, NH with just one stop for gas. Only problem was it had a little ‘shimmy’ around 90 mph, like at any moment it might explode
1st car was a 1991 Ford Ranger – it was a manual and was not fast. Total tank, not good on gas and very cramped cabin. Loved that car.
1st car was a 1987 Honda Civic Hatchback SI. Best mpg EVER!!! Unfortunately I was able to lean back my seat slightly and touch the back window
Pretty baby!
1969 VW Bug. It was more primer than paint:) It kept my classmates and I very busy in shop! It survived 2 wrecks and a trip to Tiajuana. Best car ever! Unfortunately, it did not survive the trip home from Tiajuana…the motor blew up.
There she is, welcome LBS. Tim I was thinking the same thing. Maybe a shipment of rowers came in last night.
My first car was a 1986 Mitsubishi Starion.
- 2 door sports car
- 4 cylinder turbo with intercooler
- leather interior, auto climate control
- RWD, 5 speed
This was a fast, fast, car. Way to fast for me at the beginning. Eventually my driving skills improved and then I proceeded to tear up the streets of NYC.
Tim, was your Gaxalie a 2 or 4 door?
Mike, 2 door, hard top piece of shit. V8- although gas back then was cheap. great car for a 17 yr. old growing up in Alabama with a girlfriend named Donna….. Wait, that’s another story.
Congrats on the new baby & box!
WOD’s today can run every 5 minutes, showers in the new box are awesome, and it was nice to break in the new space with a benchmark.
-1988 Bonneville lasted 2 weeks before I totaled it…then I bought a 1980 Caprice Classic. So embarassing, but it was all I could afford, parents would not donate a dime to my driving follies.
1971 Gold VW long nose beatle. Crank sunroof. Damn I miss that car. I think my parents paid $1500 for it. I would pay 10 times that now to have it back.
Superbowl seriously needs to be on a Saturday. I’m hurtin.

I LOVE the new facility.
Ellen, on the webcam it looks like the showers are awesome.
You know, I was complaining about the mirrors fogging up…guess I should appreciate the fog and hope it covered the camera lens.
Lila is beautiful and the new place is awesome!
I got a Mazda Miata for my 16th birthday. I couldn’t drive manual well back then and crashed that little tin can death trap into many things. The first car I bought is the 2002 BMW Z3 I’m still driving. Somehow it still has only has 30,000 miles on it (benefit of working at home I guess).
“little tin can death trap into many things” whoa, whoa…easy now. I drive one of those little tin cans now! Mine does have a big-ass rollbar installed though, so it’s not as much of a deathtrap. I’m not always putting around in traffic either: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etbsnyVrQHc
Congratulations Brian and Lisa.
No disrespect
! I loved the car, I’m just glad I made it out alive. I grew up in NE Ohio and winters with that car were just brutal. I remember cramming numerous 50# bags of salt in the trunk to try and stop spinning out all over the icy roads. I ended up in a lot of ditches. The roll bar is a smart addition. I Wrecked the car twice, and it crumpled like a can of tuna. Obviously, I wasn’t the best driver back then
